New ranges/additions of plants.

We always believed we should do one section of plants in depth and this we did and will continue to do with Climbing plants both temperate and tropical and they will always remain our core business area with the nursery constantly re evaluating and supplementing the range we offer with the ultimate aim of perfection. However when we very first started in the early 1990’s we sold a wider range of interesting and unusual plants for the garden and glasshouse before specializing with flowering climbers.

The temptation is now too great and we have decided to supplement the mail order web catalogue with four main new areas.

Each with a small range of: Exciting and unusual and harder to source hardy garden shrubs including many wild NE USA and Chinese shrubs.
Small garden ornamental hardy trees.  A small range of the best half-hardy sub-shrubs including rarer wild Salvia species, Cestrums, Iochroma,Hedychiums Tender/tropical ornamental plants and shrubs with strong scent or overwhelming floral presence being major factors.

We expect the following genera to be included such as unusual tropical Asian Gardenia species, and the whole family of Annonaceae will be featured strongly.  We are currently sourcing and evaluating much new material from all over the world and we will be soon be publishing the forthcoming new additions to the catalogue.

Check the Newsletter and the Availability List as well as this page which will show new items offered as they become available. Climbers have been our speciality and we have many new flowering vines for both the garden and greenhouse/conservatory to be launched in the 2006 season.
